Free TDR line check
Paste pipe-delimited TDR lines. The SRP also takes an Excel file or another delimiter; this check reads pipe-delimited lines only. We check two basics right here in your browser: whether each line is pipe-delimited, and whether any value starts with a spreadsheet-formula character. It does not check your columns, required fields or formats against GSA's template. Nothing is uploaded or stored.
The format layer, and what sits above it
This checker looks at two format basics in each line: whether it is delimited with pipes, and whether any value begins with a character a spreadsheet would treat as a formula. It does not check your columns, required fields, or date and number formats. For those, use the column order and formats in GSA's current SRP template; this step-by-step guide lists the required columns.
The portal calculates the IFF due on what you report. What it never checks is whether the file is right: whether the reported sales are complete and correct, Trade Agreements Act and country-of-origin exposure, the $100,000 and $125,000 sales criteria, and which clauses apply. That is the layer TDR Guard is designed to review (it has not launched yet), and it is the layer an Industrial Operations Analyst reads.
Questions
What does the free TDR line check look at?
Two format basics: whether each line is pipe-delimited, and whether any value starts with a spreadsheet-formula character. It does not check your columns, required fields or formats against GSA's SRP template. It runs entirely in your browser; nothing is uploaded or stored.
Does a clean result mean my TDR file is compliant?
No. Format acceptance is not compliance. IFF accuracy, TAA and country-of-origin exposure, sales thresholds and clause applicability are the compliance layer, which TDR Guard is designed to review; it has not launched yet. GSA makes every acceptance and compliance determination.
What file format does GSA's SRP accept?
Form entry or an uploaded file: an Excel spreadsheet built from GSA's template, or a special-character-delimited file. Products and services profiles carry different required columns (12 for products, 9 for services in GSA's MAS file upload instructions), so check GSA's current upload instructions for your profile.
