Is GSA's free SRP enough?
GSA's Sales Reporting Portal validates your TDR file's format, rejects uploads that fail validation, and calculates the IFF due on what you report. That catches typos. It doesn't catch the things that decide your standing when an Industrial Operations Analyst reviews you. Here's the line.

What the free SRP checks
- ✓ Required fields present and correctly typed
- ✓ Manufacturer name, part number, unit of measure, and unit price against your catalog
- ✓ Upload file format is valid
- ✓ Rejects uploads that fail validation
- ✓ Auto-calculates the IFF owed on what you reported
Result: your file is accepted.
What it doesn't — but an IOA does
- → Whether the sales behind your IFF are complete and correct for each period
- → TAA and country-of-origin questions, raised for contract-level review
- → The $100K / $125K sales thresholds and SIN mapping
- → FAR / GSAM clause applicability to your contract
- → Modification status and Mass Mod acceptance
- → A defensible audit trail across reporting periods
Result: the issues an IOA would find, found first.
The SRP tells you your file will be accepted. It doesn't tell you you're compliant.
